Janet Daughtry is a speaker, author and life coach. To know Janet is to experience someone who is passionate about women and their self-discovery.
For over 25 years, Janet has been involved with women and women’s issues
as a pastor, teacher/trainer, business owner and more recently life coach
and author. Her heartbeat is to encourage women in transition, leadership
and business to reach their full potential and to experience breakthrough
in limited and sabotaging thinking.
As a life coach, Janet enjoys coaching women from across the country and internationally in the areas of discovering their God-sized purpose. She particularly enjoys helping women discover their gifts and to move past limited and sabotaging thinking that keeps them stuck in life. In addition to coaching, she locally serves as a speaker/trainer for Job Start, a transitional program for the Raleigh (NC) Correctional Center for Women. She is also a frequent speaker/trainer for the Women’s Summer Empowerment Camps through the Encouraging Place in Raleigh, NC. This year, she is excited to launch her new Lives Without Limits Women’s Conferences throughout the triangle region and nationally.
She holds a Masters of Divinity Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is a trained Belief Therapist and a certified Biblical Life Coach. She has also received additional life coaching training through the Institute of Life Coach Training and ia a member of the International Coaching Federation, Biblical Counseling, Spiritual Formation Network and Christian Coaches Network.
When Janet is not coaching or training, she loves spending time at the beach, gardening, and spending time with her wonderful husband Daryl, two stepdaughters and beautiful grandchildren. Janet and her husband reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Janet has just completed several video projects including her major work, “7 Power Keys To Unlock Your Life’s Potential” a seven-part video series with accompanying workbooks. This is a “do-it-yourself” and “how-to” approach to discover your gifts, motivations, values, and dreams. Her new book “Life Lessons from a Life Coach” is to be released this summer.
